Nissan has recently launched its small car ‘Micra’, which will compete with the leading hatchbacks in the Rs 4-lakh-bracket like the Hyundai i10, the Chevrolet Beat and the Maruti Suzuki Ritz.
A first look at the car itself tells the story- Nissan has given lots of attention on the design aspect. However, the features’ part too doesn’t disappoint.
Its key features include dual airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution brakes, climate control, keyless entry and go, engine start / stop button, tilt-adjustable steering, 4 power windows, engine immobiliser, 4 speaker audio system with CD / MP3 / AUX compatibility, multi-information display and rear wash / wipe.
Its key sensors on door handles let you open the car with the key in your pocket.
The car has a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine and it promises fuel efficiency of 18.06 km a litre.
It will be available in three variants XE (3.98 lakh), XL (4.69 lakh)& XV (5.29 lakh).
The nationwide sales of Micra, which is competitively priced at Rs 3.98 lakh and Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), is commencing from July 15.
